A VERY Happy Christmas to You!!!

Updated: Dec 26, 2020

"But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive our adoption as sons." ~ Galatians 4:4-5

I pray today and ever after we all remember the true gifts of Christmas.

Merry Mery Mery Christmas!!!

God Bless Us, Everyone.

In the spirit of Christmas Day...

As mentioned yesterday, this was the 30th year I participated in Christmas services for my original church. Given all things 2020, we had to record ahead of time. And so it is I share with you as well... just for fun.

Jesus is the reason for the season. May we spread His Love and Light, far and wide.

"Then Mary said: 'My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!'" ~ Luke 1:46-47

May the Good Lord bless you and keep you, friends... always, in all ways. Amen.

Since above, I have shared music, it seems to make sense to share something else below... I came across a breathtaking telling of the Nativity story. It doesn't have subtitles, and I love that about it. We all know the story so well, the words don't matter. If we can simply allow the words to roll over us, it makes experiencing the story somehow all the more powerful. It's a human story. It's a Divine story. And, it is beautifully rendered here.

Also, if you're accustomed to the contemporary impression of the wisemen showing up manger-side, this may be a little confusing. But, this representation is accurate to Scripture in timeline, and I found that extra beautiful and quite refreshing.

Enjoy!

A little disclaimer... To be in integrity and honest about where I stand, I should say that this was produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. While that is not a belief system to which I ascribe, they have done something wonderful with this piece. I occasionally share music of the Mormon Tabernacle as well and experience the same conundrum. In the end, beautiful art is beautiful art, and when I do make the choice to share I'm confident the piece I have chosen is aligned with where I stand. I hope you find this as extraordinary an experience as I did. May you be blessed this Christmas season and always.
